I have been feeling this way for some time now. I have decided to departure from Nightlights and move on to new things…
It has been a very significant past few years for us. We began at the end of the summer in 2009, with hopes of making music that meant something to us. For a good while now, I have been feeling off-balanced with the band and just no longer have the tendency to move forward with this…it wouldn’t be fair to the rest of the band, everyone who supports us, and myself to continue in this direction. I’m thankful for all of our experiences together, the people we have met on the road, and all of the extraordinary bands we’ve played shows with. With deep appreciation, thank you so much to everyone and anyone who has supported or helped us out over the years. I wish the band the best if they continue to play.
Lastly, I wanted to state that these past few years has been surrounded by a lot of negativity and it has came back to haunt me. I have decided that music isn’t about hiding your identity and trying to fit in. My thoughts consist of being a better man, not taking life too seriously, and drifting on my own path to happiness.

Seriously…THANK YOU all for coming and seeing us at Fest this year. It always has been the best time of year and everyone of you that came made it even more special than ever before! We had the greatest time. There is nothing else like it! We love you all more than you can know!

Hello,
New website, thanks to Tumblr! We’ll be starting to blog with updates on here (as well as on our Facebook & Twitter pages). So please tell all your buddies to check out our upcoming blogs! We will have a new music video of the song ‘Truffle Shuffle’ posted within the next few weeks hopefully. Thanks again to National Underground for making this happen for us! We’re finally playing a show in Daytona on September 30th, & it’s with The Ataris! It is going to be awesome to hang with our friends & have a good time. Well that’s all I gotta say for the moment, so until next time…!
